SERVICES and RATES

We provide two types of services: 

Caring Kitty Sitting Travel Visits - we provide compassionate cat care while you are traveling and your cats stay in the comfort of their own home. This includes physical care (e.g., feeding, changing water, giving medications), as well as emotional care (e.g., playtime, petting, attention) suited to the individual needs of each cat.

Caring Kitty Support Visits- we provide support while you are home. Types of support include: taking care of your cats while you are home, medication visits, and providing pet bereavement support.

VISITS INCLUDE: 

Preparing meals (including specialized diets)

Changing water 

Administering medications, if needed 

Cleaning litter boxes 

Kitty play time 

Pets, cuddles, & attention 

Brushing cat’s fur 

Giving out cat treats

Completing a daily visit checklist

Sending updates to cat’s human parents

OTHER SERVICES ON REQUEST

Bringing in the mail, newspaper

Alternating lights/ curtains

Watering indoor plants

Filling bird feeder 

Turning on/off TV/radio

Putting out trash/recycle bin  

Visits can occur daily, or multiple times a day. However, visits can not be scheduled every other day for the welfare of the cat. Too much can happen when the cat is not being cared for daily. 

 
Visits are specified by time, to assure the pet parent that the pet sitter will be there a minimum amount of time. For example, for a standard 30 minute visit, the pet sitter will be there a minimum of 30 minutes. 

 
Caring Kitty Sitting, LLC does not charge more for holidays or for multiple cats.

Although Caring Kitty Sitting, LLC specializes in cats, we can meet the needs of other small pets in the cats household (e.g., fish, guinea pig).   

NONTRAVEL PET SITTING SUPPORT VISITS - Pet Sitting Visits that occur while the owner is home and would like assistance taking care of their pet (ranging from litter service to full cat care). 

MEDICATION VISITS- These are visits only for medication administration (e.g., eye drops, subcutaneous fluids, pills) and/or for teaching the pet parent techniques to administer the medication. 

CAT CARRIER ASSIST VISITS: Visits to gently place the cat in the carrier so the owner can transport the cat.

VETERINARY VISITS: Visits to place the cat in the carrier and take the cat to the veterinary appointment (only for cats that use other Caring Kitty Sitting services).

PET LOSS BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT: Visits to support the pet parent who has lost their precious pet. As a Pet Loss Bereavement Specialist who has been the pet parent to 18 cats (2 dogs and multiple other animals), I know how devastating it can be to lose a pet. I am here to provide support. (Please note, this is not therapy, but pet loss bereavement support).

Standard 30 minute pet sitting visit (travel and nontravel)- $18 

Extended 60 minute pet sitting visit- $25

Twice a day pet sitting visits- $36

Overnight Stays (9 pm to 7 am)- $110

Pet Loss Bereavement Support Visit (In person/Zoom)- $25
