Caring Kitty Sitting, LLC, provides competent and compassionate in-home care by this locally owned and operated pet sitting service in Atlanta, Georgia.  We are insured and bonded. We also provide support in terms of nontravel cat care, medication visits, and pet loss bereavement support. 

 
MEET KATHY, OWNER and PROFESSIONAL PET SITTER 

Kathy Heller has a background of working with people and cats with disabilities and health issues. She is a Professor Emerita at Ga State University and worked in the area of Special Education (Physical Disabilities and Health Impairments). She is also a Registered Nurse, having worked in Critical Care and Hospice. She has been a proud cat parent to 18 cats over the last few decades and many of her cats had disabilities (e.g., cerebellar hypoplasia, blindness), and health issues (e.g., FIV, cancer, kidney failure).  Currently she has 4 wonderful cats. 

Kathy is nationally certified by NAPPS (National Association of Professional Pet Sitters) as a Professional Pet Sitter. She started pet sitting cats since 2011.  She is also a Certified Pet Loss Bereavement Specialist.

Kathy has experience with countless number of cats due to her volunteer work in the Cat area of Best Friends Lifesaving Shelter in Atlanta (over 4 years until the shelter site closed). She also volunteers at FurKids Cat Shelter in such roles as a  cat caretaker (feeding, cleaning, playing with cats) and as part of the Medical Team (giving cats their medications). 

MEET ED, OWNER

Ed Heller has been the proud pet parent to 15 cats. He works behind the scenes at Caring Kitty Sitting, LLC assisting with technological support.  Our cats just love him!   

OWNERS ARE FULLY VACCINATED FOR COVID-19 AND ADHERE TO INFECTION CONTROL POLICIES.
